Battle for the Banded Rail works with local communities to increase the number of banded rail and other estuarine birds on the Waimea Inlet by restoring habitat and trapping pests.
Together, let’s give some TLC to this season’s newly planted natives! This event is part of the Nelson Tasman Climate Action Festival.

Morning tea will be provided, and all volunteers are welcome.
There’s no need to register, but if the weather’s not good, we will cancel by 8 am on the day. However, if it’s just light rain we’ll go ahead.
