Battle for the Banded Rail is working with local communities to increase the number of banded rail and other estuarine birds on the Waimea Inlet by restoring habitat and trapping predators. Together, let’s give some TLC to this season’s new plants.

Wear solid footwear and clothes suitable for the weather conditions.
Morning tea will be provided, and all volunteers are welcome.
There is no need to register, but if the weather’s not good, we will cancel by 8 am on the day. However, if it’s just doubtful or light rain, we’ll go ahead.
