Battle for the Banded Rail is holding a plant maintenance morning at 22/24 Bronte (access from 24 Bronte Road East) Friday 27 February, 9–11am.
We’ll be caring for native plantings that help restore habitat for our precious mohu pererū (banded rail) and mātātā (fernbird).

🛠️ We’ve got tools ready to go
It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet locals, and do a little good for our estuary.
If it’s pouring with rain, we will postpone.
