Battle for the Banded Rail is holding a plant maintenance morning at Apple Valley East this Friday, 9–11am.
We’ll be caring for native plantings that help restore habitat for our precious mohu pererū (banded rail) and mātātā (fernbird).

🛠️ We’ve got tools ready to go
It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet locals, and do a little good for our estuary.
If it’s pouring with rain, we will postpone.
