Battle for the Banded Rail is holding a plant maintenance morning at 62 Bronte Road East,
Friday 13 March, 9–11am.
We’ll be caring for native plantings that help restore habitat for our precious mohu pererū (banded rail) and mātātā (fernbird).
🧤 Bring drinking water & gardening gloves
🛠️ We’ve got tools ready to go
It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet locals, and do a little good for our estuary.
If it’s pouring with rain, we will postpone.
